Laurie D. Jaffe's practice includes trial and appellate work in state and federal courts in the areas of contracts, class actions, insurance coverage, petroleum industry related litigation and general commercial litigation.

Prior to becoming a principal in the firm, Ms. Jaffe was a partner at Bell, Boyd & Lloyd. She was a member of the General Litigation and Insurance Litigation Departments.

Ms. Jaffe graduated from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 1985, where she was Lead Articles Editor of the Loyola Law Journal. She received a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan in 1977 and worked as a clinical social worker prior to attending law school. She earned her undergraduate degree from Oberlin College in 1975.

Ms. Jaffe is licensed to practice in the Supreme Court of Illinois, the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, and the United States District Courts for the Northern District of Illinois, the Central District of Illinois and the District of North Dakota. She has been a member of the Trial Bar in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois since 1988. She is a member of the Chicago Bar Association.
